Ross is a premier brand of poultry breeding stock produced by Aviagen®, a world leader in poultry breeding.

The seminar provided an ideal platform to share best practice management advice, with a tailored and diverse program designed to be both informative and interactive, covering the latest updates in management, health and nutrition for breeders and broilers.

Attendees included integrators and day-old chick producers from the private sector and delegates from the Lebanon Ministry of Agriculture. The seminar’s speakers were Aviagen Incubation Specialist Tolga Erkus, Regional Technical Manager Neil Clark, Technical Service Manager Ibrahim Ibrahim, Nutritionist Adam Sacranie and Veterinarian Pavel Shkarlat.

“We are acutely aware of our responsibility to the market in Lebanon and the wider MEA region,” said Bulent Tanyildizi, Ross commercial manager MEA. “Proven performance means Ross is the breed of choice for the region but we don’t take anything for granted or wish to rest on our laurels. Seminars, such as this, allow us to pass on focused, tailored advice to our customers, so that they can get the best from their Ross birds.”

“The seminar was a great success and we were delighted with the attendance and involvement of the Lebanese industry. We are committed to providing continued support to the market through our customer service offering and future events and seminars,” said Bulent.

Estephan Karam, chairman of Karam Group United from Lebanon, said, “Lebanon was proud and honored to welcome Aviagen to present at this conference, which will help to improve and develop poultry science in the country. It has been 20 years since we last received this level of insight in Lebanon and hearing from various experts on the wide range of topics was perfect. We wish to thank all who contributed to the successful seminar and hope to see another meeting in Lebanon concerning the development and evolution of poultry science in the near future.”
