“Novus is committed to deliver probiotic products that provide demonstrable value to feed and animal producers”, stated Dave Zacek, Global Executive Manager of Eubiotics at Novus. “We are thrilled to begin expanding the global reach of SPORULIN®, which has the ability to be a valuable tool for producers to support gut health in commercial poultry operations.”

SPORULIN®, a U.S. patented, 3-strain combination of Bacillus subtilis probiotic, is a unique combination which withstands pelleting and is shown to inhibit many undesirable enteric bacteria in poultry. Recently released research has shown SPORULIN® modifies chicken microbiota, reducing C. perfringens and increasing Lactobacillus, when it is added to the feed.

SPORULIN® was originally developed by University of Arkansas scientists working in collaboration with Pacific Vet Group, a company now wholly owned by Novozymes, the Denmark based global leader in microbiological organism discovery, characterization and production.
