The geese were taken from some land in the Bawburgh area in the middle of the night - between 3am and 8am.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Bawburgh area between the times stated, or in particular from anyone who may have been offered any geese for sale.

The theft of such as large number of birds is very unusual.
