Robberts will be primarily responsible for service support, as well as communicating new developments and improvements in the management of Ross® 308 to customers in all markets.

Robberts graduated with diplomas in animal and poultry science and has 11 years production experience with breeders and broiler production in South Africa and New Zealand. She spent an additional 7 years as a technical advisor for a poultry distributor company servicing Ross parent stock customers in South Africa.

“Her strong background managing a number of the production farms and people, both as a customer and while servicing integrated customer companies when part of the breeding industry, will bring value to her new role in Aviagen ANZ,” said Michael Leahy, managing director, Aviagen ANZ. “Judy will now utilize her skills and experience to build strong relationships and provide in-depth service and support to all our customers throughout the region. She has the insight to respond to the challenges and provide informed advice to promote growth and improvement within our customer base in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.”

Robberts will be a key customer interface for the communication and management of all Ross information and updates as the product continues to offer genetic improvements to customers globally.
