Merial Hosts Hatchery Symposium for Key Accounts

THAILAND - The Intercontinental Hotel Bangkok will host on Monday 13 March 300 delegates from across Asia for Merial Asia’s symposium Let’s Speak Avian: Hatchery Solutions.

The symposium presents five internationally renowned speakers. Industry veteran Scott Martin will share the experience of 38 years and discuss practical approaches to improving hatchery performance with better biosecurity and management. Dr. Keith Bramwell, an extension specialist for the University of Arkansas, will focus on the impact of egg holding in the hatchery. Dr. Julien Flori, a veterinarian with experience of hatcheries and layer breeders in several countries, will share his knowledge of embryo physiology and chick quality assessment.

Dr. Guillermo Zavala, an internationally respected poultry consultant, will discuss vaccination and disease prevention in the hatchery while Dr. Chris Fritts, with her years of experience in developing equipment for Merial’s Global VTS team, will explain the importance of well-designed vaccination equipment and demonstrate some exciting new technologies.

At the booth on 15 March at 3pm, Merial will launch an innovative and easy to use hatchery audit mobile application: HatchVet Expert. It can be used to conduct hatchery audits, focusing on three key areas – biosecurity, vaccine handling preparation and application.
