According to MuscatDaily.com, the opening was held under the auspices of H E Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif al Mawali, Wali of Bausher and in the presence of Assiya Ashraf-Miller and Ann Mason on behalf of the American ambassador in Oman.

“We are proud to bring such premium brand with 65 years history as a leading quick service brand into Oman,” said Mohamed Hassan, country operations manager.

“The Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) concept has been around for nearly 40 years in this region, and the heritage and reputation of Texas Chicken allows us to really stand apart through quality, wholesome, delicious foods we offer. We expect strong market response to continue as we keep expanding throughout Oman.”

The brand specialises in big, juicy and crunchy original and spicy chicken freshly prepared throughout the day in small batches that are hand-battered and double-breaded.

It also serves tender strips, sandwiches, honey-butter biscuits made from scratch and freshly baked, and classic, home-style sides all for a great value.

The Olayan Group operates more than 50 Texas Chicken restaurants in UAE and in the western region of Saudi. The company operates over 1,700 restaurants across 26 countries.
