Poultry Technical Seminar Offered Entirely in Spanish at 2018 IPPE

US - For the fourth year, the US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) is hosting the education programme, "Seminario Avícola en Español" (Poultry Seminar in Spanish), during the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

The seminar will be conducted entirely in Spanish and is a full-day programme that will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, 29 January 2018. The cost is $150 for all registered IPPE attendees.

This year’s programme will feature a variety of topics, including:

  • Addressing Consumer Confusion around Food;
  • Impact on Production Costs When Addressing Animal Welfare Demands by Consumers;
  • How Stocking Density Impacts Poultry Barn Design;
  • Mortality Disposal Practices;
  • The Importance of Feed Safety in the Development of Diets for Poultry;
  • The Future of Feeding Poultry: Costs and Benefits;
  • Chicken Breast Myopathy Management: Nutritional and Environmental Facts;
  • How to Minimize the Impact of Mycotoxins;
  • and Egg Marketing in Colombia.

IPPE, the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, will be held 30 January – 1 February 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia.

IPPE is a collaboration of three trade shows, the International Feed Expo, International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo, representing the entire chain of protein production and processing.

The event is sponsored by USPOULTRY, the American Feed Industry Association and the North American Meat Institute.
