Aviagen's new spacious 152-square-meter stand

The Aviagen Asia team looks forward to welcoming visitors to VIV Asia 2019, featuring the Arbor Acres, Indian River and Ross brands of broiler breeding stock. Dubbed Asia’s leading “feed-to-food” international show, the bi-annual event will take place 13-15 March at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center.

Aviagen’s customer support staff will be on hand at stand 2700 in event hall 101 to speak to customers in their local languages, and together discuss ways to improve bird health, welfare and performance.

Venue for sharing and networking

Apart from the action on the show floor, Aviagen will host and participate in a number of beneficial activities.

On 12 March, the day before the show begins, Aviagen global experts have been invited to be part of a broiler breeder conference, which will explore key management and health issues that impact modern broiler breeder production in Asia. Dominic Elfick, international product manager for Aviagen Australia, will discuss the role that genetics plays in bird health, welfare and performance, while Aviagen Global Head of Veterinary Services Nick Dorko will offer advice for disease prevention.

A welcome dinner on the first day of the show will provide Aviagen and its customers another opportunity for idea exchange and relationship strengthening. The following day, Arbor Acres, Indian River and Ross experts will meet with customers during separate sessions to share the latest management advice for improved breeder and broiler performance.

Additionally, on 14 and 15 March, customers will have the chance to observe a field trial featuring Aviagen and competitor broilers under both open-house and environmentally controlled conditions and under various nutritional and management strategies at the Bangkok Animal Research Center (BARC). This event is for Aviagen customers and is by registration only.

Greg Hitt, regional technical manager for Asia Pacific, commented, “VIV Asia is an important event on the Aviagen calendar. This year our full program includes many opportunities to connect with our valued customers and industry colleagues, while together exploring the critical issues facing poultry businesses today.”
