Massachusetts poultry farm may become cannabis company

USA - In Otis, Massachusetts, Andy Pyenson was ready to sell his poultry farm in 2013. Now, it may become a cannbis cultivation and retail business.

Otis residents will get a chance to discuss the proposal by cannabis company Turning Leaf Industries, which involves keeping the country store open, at a meeting Saturday at Otis Town Hall.

David Reiner, a partner at Turning Leaf, assures that he country store will remain open: “We did promise the town that we would keep operations going,” Reiner said. "We are going to have an operator continue to run the store. The town really wants to keep that going."
