The Aviagen® Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia (EMEAA) Production Management Schools continue to grow in popularity, as they provide essential knowledge and tools to poultry producers and contribute to developing the future of the industry. Please see the newly released 2020 School Prospectus, which includes all upcoming course offerings.

Established in 2012, the EMEAA Schools help attendees improve their operations through teaching and by giving them a forum to share their experiences and knowledge with their industry colleagues, together understanding and identifying ways to optimise the health and performance of their flocks. To maximise the learning experience, the school modules incorporate a mix of styles: lectures, workshops and hands-on training. Tutors include Aviagen and external experts, who are all leaders in their respective fields. Since its introduction, the School has welcomed more than 800 students representing 50 countries across EMEAA.

“In my role as Global Head of Technical Transfer, I spearhead the EMEAA Schools; my mission is to ensure the modules are always developed in line with current and future needs of our customers,” explained Alan Thomson. “We aim to add value to our customers’ businesses, and make sure everything they learn is directly applicable to their daily work.” Find out more about Alan’s vision for the Schools by watching this video.
