South Korea confirms H5N8 bird flu on duck farm
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) reports that South Korea has confirmed an outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N8 bird flu on a duck farm.

By: Reuters reports that the bird flu outbreak is on a duck farm in the town of Girin-ri, in the southwestern part of the country. South Korea’s agriculture ministry says that the outbreak has killed 19,000 ducks.
Some 392,000 chickens and ducks at a total of six farms were killed preventively, the ministry also said.
