The technical forums are the highlight of the biennial Pig & Poultry Fair, providing producers with the chance to hear the latest thinking and expert opinion to help with planning ahead for their businesses.

“The Fair is known as the place to find ideas,” says Alice Bell, event organiser, “and while we can’t meet in person we will be bringing a line up of top speakers and leading advice to your screens, at home on 12 May.”

Partnered by ABN, the programme for the day will include the popular pig, poultry meat and egg outlooks, plus a number of technical sessions including from AHDB’s experts, all of which will be free to attend live via the Fair website.

“The Fair is a hugely important event for the industry and we are delighted to be partnering the Online Fair Forums in 2021,” says Danny Johnson, ABN Commercial Director. “At ABN we are committed to helping producers improve performance on farm and that is exactly what these forums will be offering in 2021.”

With the next live edition of the Fair taking place on 10 & 11 May 2022, following the cancellation of the 2020 Fair due to COVID-19, the Royal Agricultural Society of England wanted to support the industry and provide a chance for producers and the wider sector to come together virtually in 2021.
