Each year the NFU organises a series of marketing meetings aimed at seasonal turkey producers. Following the 2020 virtual meeting, the eight meetings this year are planned to take place in person across the country between 13 September and 11 October and are free to attend.

Registrations are open and aimed at all seasonal turkey producers, these events are free to attend, producers just need to register in advance. The meetings provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide useful insights for all those in seasonal turkey production. Each event will include updates on the feed market, consumer insights, cost of production, and other practical information to help producers get the most from their turkey business.

Tom Glen, Poultry Adviser for the NFU, plays a key role in coordinating the marketing meetings: “ForFarmers has been a key supporter of the NFU’s Autumn Turkey Marketing Meetings in previous years and we are delighted that they are continuing their support in 2021. Having met virtually in 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions, we are looking forward to meeting face to face this year with producers to share insight, knowledge, and support, to help seasonal turkey producers have a successful season.”

The venues and dates for the NFU's 2021 autumn turkey marketing meetings are detailed below. To register, head over to the NFU dedicated site.
