US poultry exports continued their long hot streak through August, according to the latest trade data, with broilers, eggs, and turkey all posting gains in both volume and value for the first eight months of this year, the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service reported.

Total broiler export quantity for January through August of 2021 set a record of 2,473,865 metric tonnes.

Strength in the markets of South Korea, Canada, Mexico, and Hong Kong propelled egg exports. Table egg exports for the first eight months of this year reached an all-time high of 136.5 million dozen valued at $137.3 million.

Turkey exports for January through August this year increased 1.5% in volume and 12.4% in value, thanks largely to increased shipments to Mexico, Benin, South Africa, and Peru.
