While cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza continue to be reported in Canada, most are in small flocks in western Canada, and none have been reported in commercial poultry operations, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The CFIA has reported a few cases in small flocks in Alberta and British Columbia.

The last time HPAI was confirmed in a Canadian commercial poultry flock was on 20 May.
