Canada's National Poultry Show, presented in partnership with the Poultry Industry Council, announced that it is moving to a new date for 2023. This year’s show will be held on February 8-9 at the Western Fair District Agriplex in London, Ontario.

Over the past three years there have been many outside pressures that have influenced the ability of show organizers to present an in-person event. In 2020 and 2021, the show was impacted by Covid-19 shutdowns, and most recently in 2022, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) during the spring migration season. HPAI also forced the cancellation of the show in 2015.

As a result of this, and after thorough consultation with exhibitors, attendees, and industry stakeholders, show organizers have moved the show to new dates for 2023, to avoid potential impacts from future spring migration seasons in Canada. Going forward, it is anticipated that the show will be moving permanently to an earlier date, with organisers currently working on scheduling for the next few years.
