Brazil gained access to a new market in Ecuador for poultry meal last week, according to a government-issued press release.

According to the Secretariat of Commerce and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Ecuador imported animal feed meal from around the world worth US$ 554 million.

The work of opening foreign markets does not only include the sale of traditional products of which Brazil is already a major exporter, such as meat, corn and soybeans, but of various products of the agricultural chain, meeting the objective of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock to diversify the Brazilian export agenda.

Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Agriculture in Brazil has opened 24 new markets in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania for the export of the most diverse products from various agricultural sectors.
