Taiwan has temporarily revised its quarantine requirements to curtail disease-zone restrictions for imported eggs and egg products, according to a recent US Department of Agriculture Global Agricultural Information Network report (USDA-GAIN).

US eggs and egg products that are sourced from a farm with no outbreak of poultry diseases for at least 28 days before export are permitted to ship until June 30, 2024, provided that they also meet the other requirements in the temporary special project and food safety rules.

After July 1, 2024, US eggs and egg products must comply with the regular quarantine requirements.
