Executives at Brazilian chicken and pork processor BRF, which reported strong first quarter results, said chicken prices in export markets are likely to continue improving while the outlook for domestic food sales is rosier than last year based on a rise in Brazil's employment and household income, reported Reuters.

In a call to discuss earnings results with analysts on Wednesday, BRF said plentiful global soy and corn supplies, used to make animal feed, may contribute to further lower the company's production costs in coming quarters, benefiting margins.
