In a statement to the press, Burnbrae Farms announced plans to construct a new egg grading facility in Strathroy’s Molnar Industrial Park earlier this month. The 150,000-square-foot site is expected to be operational by late 2026.

The facility will include automated case packing, palletising, depalletising systems, and a fully integrated automated storage and retrieval system. It will also incorporate solar energy, heat recovery systems, and electric shore power for refrigerated trailers.

Michael + Clark Construction, based in nearby London, Ontario, will manage the build.

Burnbrae Farms, which has operated in the Strathroy area for more than 45 years, said the new site reflects its ongoing investment in egg grading capacity and regional economic development.
