Brazilian Agriculture Minister Carlos Favaro told journalists on Monday that Chile is ready to resume imports of Brazilian poultry, while Brazil is also in "final negotiations" with the European Union and China, reported Reuters

Earlier this year, dozens of countries imposed restrictions on the purchase of Brazilian poultry due to a bird flu case on a commercial farm in southern Brazil.

Some of those countries have already reversed or eased the restrictions, as Brazil declared itself free of the virus in commercial flocks after 28 days without any new outbreaks.
