By: Hy-Line International has been recognized as the “Partner Organization of the Year” by Blessman International of South Africa. Dr. Jim Blessman, founder of Blessman International, presented the award to Tom Dixon, Global Marketing Manager of Hy-Line International, in recognition of the company’s dedication to combating food insecurity in South Africa.
Hy-Line is proud to support Blessman International’s mission, which provides nutritious meals to more than 60,000 children through its food hubs across South Africa. Over the past three years, Hy-Line has played a crucial role in launching the ‘egg-a-day’ initiative by supplying Hy-Line layer flocks to the organization. This effort has seen significant growth and is projected to triple in size by the end of 2025.
Furthering its commitment to global nutrition, Hy-Line is now honored to collaborate with the International Egg Foundation and OneEgg. OneEgg’s ‘1,000 Day’ program focuses on delivering vital nutrition by providing eggs to pregnant and nursing mothers throughout pregnancy and the first critical years of their baby’s life. This initiative helps promote the health and well-being of both mothers and infants, creating a lasting impact on families and communities.
