Noble Foods has appointed Ken Clow as managing director of its shell egg business, one of the UK’s largest food production operations, according to a press release from the company

The business handles more than 30 million British Lion eggs each week and supplies major retailers with both branded and own-label products. Noble Foods is the UK’s leading egg producer and holds a Royal Warrant.

Clow joins the company with commercial and operational experience in agri-food and food retailing, most recently serving as CEO of Donald Russell. The company said his experience leading high-performing teams, strengthening customer partnerships and delivering operational performance will support the next phase of growth in the shell egg division.

The appointment follows the departure of Liam Burke, who is stepping down after five years with Noble Foods. After three decades in senior, travel-intensive roles, Burke has chosen to pursue opportunities closer to home and spend more time with his family.

Noble Foods credited Burke with building a profitable and sustainable business, strengthening supply chain relationships and guiding the team through industry-wide challenges.

“I’m proud to join Noble Foods, a purpose lead, family-owned business at the heart of UK agriculture. I look forward to working with our colleagues, producers and customers to drive growth, building on the solid foundations Liam and the team have put down”, Ken commented.

Clow will lead the company’s efforts to strengthen its position across both branded and own-label shell eggs, with a continued focus on quality, service and partnerships with British farmers, alongside ongoing innovation.
