HatchTech Group has appointed Ben Green as national sales manager for the US, as the company expands its presence in the hatchery sector, according to a company-issued press release

Green will support adoption of the company’s incubation systems and SelEggt in ovo sexing technology across the country. He will work with Codie McKnight, national sales manager US, and Robin van Ginkel, international sales manager, to grow HatchTech’s footprint and tailor solutions to US hatcheries.

Green has more than 30 years of experience in the poultry sector, including hatchery operations and production. He most recently served as senior director of hatcheries and transportation at Cobb.

"I have known HatchTech for more than 20 years and have closely followed the performance its products deliver in practice,” said Ben Green. “It is the combination of HatchTech’s incubation concept, the consistently high-quality chicks produced, and the proven field performance of those chicks that convinced me that taking this next step in my career is the right one."

"HatchTech’s continuous drive to achieve the very best, and its ability to translate that ambition into smart solutions, such as Laminar Airflow Technology for setters and hatchers, cost-efficient designs that reduce building costs by up to 30%, and advanced innovations such as HatchCare and SetCare, gives me great confidence in both the technology and the organization behind it," he added. "I am highly motivated to help U.S.-based customers benefit from these solutions."

Van Ginkel said the US remains a priority market for the company.

"The United States is a key strategic market for HatchTech, and we are fully committed to building our presence there for the long term," he said. "We are here to stay. By investing in experienced professionals such as Codie and Ben, we ensure that our US customers receive the expertise, support, and partnership they need to achieve the best possible results from our research-based technologies."

The company is also investing in US-based infrastructure, including a spare parts warehouse and expanded technical support, aimed at improving service and response times for customers.
