Tyson Foods Inc. chairman, Don Tyson, says international growth represents the best path to profits for the world's biggest meat company, according to Lexington Herald-Leader.

US Poultry & Egg Export Council has given the latest figures for export volumes to the leading markets:

  • Russia: 57,539 metric tons (t), down 36 per cent from the year before
  • China: 28,450t, (+ 3 per cent)
  • Ukraine: 25,000t, (+ 210 per cent)
  • Mexico: 22,692t, (+ 18 per cent).
