Financial Management Seminar to Preview Economic Forecast

US - The 2009 Financial Management Seminar will examine economic conditions in the poultry industry and preview what company management can expect in the coming months.

Sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association's Poultry & Egg Institute, the conference for industry financial management professionals is scheduled on 22 to 24 June at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hilton Head, South Carolina.

"Markets and economic conditions have been a major concern in our industry recently," said program committee chairman, Mike Jones of Simmons Foods, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

"We have seen a variety of challenging issues come together for a negative impact on our bottom line. This year's programme will take a close look at those issues, along with other important financial management topics, as we look toward the future," he added.
