The relationship with the Chinese market began in the period around the Beijing Olympics, when the company supplied kosher poultry products to athletes and tourists, according to Globes.

Poultry producer Off Tov will supply the Chinese restaurant industry with 120 tons of chicken legs per month. The total amount exported by the end of 2009 will be about 1,500 tons with a value of five million shekels (NIS).

The exports to China and Hong Kong will be through a Chinese distributor specialising in selling poultry products to the restaurant and hotel industries in China.
