COMPOSITION
CHOLERAMUNE®CU is a freeze-dried, live bacterial vaccine for use in chickens.
The vaccine contains the a virulent, intermediate plus, Clemson University (CU)
strain of Pasteurella multocida serotype 3 x 4. This vaccine strain has been
shown to offer protection to flocks against the severe form of Fowl Cholera
caused by naturally-ocuring fied strains of Pasteurella multocida.
INDICATIONS
CHOLERAMUNE® CU is recommended for use in healthy chickens between
6 and 12 weeks of age as an aid in prevention of Fowl Cholera due to
Pasteurella multocida serotype 1.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Best results are obtained when vaccine is administered initially to chickens
6-12 weeks of age and again four to six weeks later, prior to start of lay.
Wing Web: Insert the applicator into the webbed portion of the wing avoiding feathers, muscle, bone and blood vessels (0.01 ml dose/bird). Vaccine should be used within one hour.

WARNING
The initial vaccination should not
be conducted in chickens older
than 12 weeks of age.
Chickens to be vaccinated should not be given any antibiotic and/or sulfonamide for three days before and five days after vaccination to avoid interference with vaccine immunity.
