Virginia poultry producers impacted by AI may apply for state funds
RICHMOND, Va. -- The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has announced that poultry producers who were affected by the 2002 outbreak of avian influenza may apply for indemnification funds proposed by Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and approved by the 2003 General Assembly.
