Arrendale recalled as a giant in area's poultry industry
GEORGIA - With the death of Tom Arrendale, Northeast Georgia's poultry industry has lost one of its leaders and innovators. Thomas Augustus Arrendale Jr., co-founder and president of Fieldale Farms, died Monday afternoon at Hospice of Atlanta as a result of head injuries he suffered last spring. He was 83.
