SEOUL - The outbreak of a potentially deadly bird flu appears to be under control in South Korea, with no new cases reported for the past week, officials say. But the agriculture ministry officials said the highly contagious virus has a 20-day incubation period, so authorities would not be fully confident the outbreak was under control for a few more weeks.
