New US poultry regulations approved

US - County officials here have approved new regulations to control the growth of new poultry farms. The regulations require new farms with three or four poultry houses to be at least 1,000 feet from the nearest home not owned by the poultry producer. New operations with more than four poultry houses have to be at least 1,500 feet from the nearest neighbor's home.
