High profile for egg mark
SCOTLAND - The Scottish Egg Producers Retailers Association (SEPRA) is leading the wayin the UK in promoting the new Egg Marketing Regulations. Members Jim and Ann Smillie appeared on BBC Scotland showingthe stamping of eggs on their farm. Ann explained to interviewer John Knoxthe importance of stamping SCO on each and every egg laid in Scotland forboth egg producers and consumers even managing to promote the patentedjingle ‘Only the Shell Can Tell’.
