Pan-EU co-op route to power?
UK - Farmers have been urged to form multi-national co-operatives to balance the power of supermarkets. Peter Gaemelke, president of COPA and the Danish Agricultural Council, said that farmers' efforts to gain economies of scale and a better bargaining position were often confounded by monopoly laws.
