Poultry Meat Quotas Eased

RUSSIA - Poultry exporters to Russia could break quota limits because of shortfall caused by avian influenza. Russia is expected to allow companies to import poultry products over existing quotas because of shortages caused by bans on poultry imports from Asian countries and some U.S. states. According to reports in the Moscow Times there are shortages of poultry meat in Russia because of the spate of outbreaks of avian influenza around the world.
