Securing Greater Food Safety

US - U.S. food regulatory agency approves cetylpyridinium chloride as a tool to fight foodborne pathogens on poultry. U.S. poultry processors have a new tool to reduce the risk of bacteria contamination of their products. The Food and Drug Administration approve the use of the antibacterial compound cetylpyridinium chloride in rinse water applied to raw poultry carcasses.
