UK Poultry Firm Fined for Chicken Cruelty

UK - One of the UK’s biggest poultry production companies was fined £4,000 today after admitting causing unnecessary suffering to thousands of chickens, trading standards officers said. Grampian Country Chickens of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, was fined by magistrates in Bury St Edmunds after being prosecuted by Suffolk County Council’s Trading Standard’s Department.
