Perdue enters Asian alliance - Philippine company will process poultry
US - Officials for Perdue Farms Inc. confirmed Thursday that the poultry company has entered into an alliance with a Philippines-based company that will process Perdue chicken for export to other Asian markets. "It's closer to our Asian customers and gives us the possibility of sending fresh, not frozen products," said Tita Cherrier, Perdue spokeswoman.
