Poultry firm to be sold

UK - Hundreds of workers were facing an uncertain future today following news that one of Lincolnshire's most successful companies is to be sold. The owners of poultry firm G.W. Padley Limited have announced plans to sell the multi-million pound business to an American buyer. Workers at Padley's sites in Main Street, Anwick, near Sleaford, and at Grantham, have been sent letters revealing it is in talks with Chicago-based International Food Group, OSI.
