US - When Minnesota-headquartered Turkey Valley Farms purchased Iowa Turkey Products a few weeks ago, former Iowa Turkey Products employees hoped they would soon be processing turkeys again in Postville, Iowa. On Dec. 20, 2003, a fire destroyed the Postville plant throwing more than 350 people out of work. ITP had processed turkeys in Postville for more than 50 years.
