RSPCA's Chicken Warning
UK - Many shoppers are unaware of the conditions in which chickens bred in the UK for meat are being kept, according the RSPCA. The charity is launching a poster campaign to highlight the plight of broiler chickens after a survey found 46% of respondents believed the animals are housed in the same way as battery hens.
