Chicken, egg prices post fresh gains
INDIA - POULTRY sector posted fresh gains this week amidst surge in demand for both layer eggs and broiler. The improved sentiment, especially for live chickens, which remained sluggish till last week, has relieved broiler farmers in the State who feel a price sustenance at this level for a couple of months will put the broiler sector on a stable wicket.
