Help for Thai poultry sector
THAILAND - The Bank of Thailand has announced that it will extend assistance to chicken breeders, slaughterhouses and other poultry-related businesses. The central bank will extend up to 15 billion baht in short-term credits through commercial and specialised state banks to farmers, processors and exporters. Promissory notes issued by eligible applicants will be purchased at face value.
