Russian Poultry Meat Imports Down By 10% In Jan-Nov 2004

RUSSIA - Russia's poultry meat imports fell by 9.5 percent to 940,600 metric tons from January through November 2004 compared with the same period of 2003, according to a source at the Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

Russian Poultry Meat Imports Down By 10% In Jan-Nov 2004 - RUSSIA - Russia's poultry meat imports fell by 9.5 percent to 940,600 metric tons from January through November 2004 compared with the same period of 2003, according to a source at the Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

The total value of the import was USD564.8 million.

The import of fresh and frozen meat totaled 817,000 metric tons (worth USD 1,113.9 million), and the import of fish products totaled 591,600 tons (worth USD 487.1 million) during the first eleven months of 2004.
