California poultry processor files for bankruptcy, shifts focus

CALIFORNIA - Fresno, Calif.-based poultry processor Hestbeck's Inc. has filed for bankruptcy protection and plans to offer different types of products to improve its situation, the Fresno Bee reported.

Hestbeck's listed assets of $435,000 and debts of about $2.7 million in its Feb. 8 petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Fresno.
