Illegally imported chicken confiscated
VIETNAM - The Market Management Team of northern border Lang Son province has seized more than 1.6 tonnes of chickens illegally imported through local border gates.All the seized chickens, which were not quarantined, have been culled.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Veterinary Department on Mar. 17 announced that no new bird flu outbreaks had been detected in 24 out of the 35 bird-flu affected provinces and cities in the last three weeks.
