VIETNAM - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has extended the ban on egg incubation for breeding poultry and the development of new waterfowl and quail flocks till February 2006. The move is one of the country's efforts to reduce its waterfowl and quail flocks to prevent a recurrence of the bird flu epidemic. The ministry had initially ordered the suspension of egg incubation for breeding poultry till the end of this year. Source:
