UK - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV has today announced the appointment of Mr. Brian High to the newly created position of country manager for the United Kingdom and Eire.

New appointment signals Hybro ’s return to the UK UK - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV has today announced the appointment of Mr. Brian High to the newly created position of country manager for the United Kingdom and Eire. Hybro The news comes as Hybro reports a record order book this year for its enhanced PG+, G+ and PN breeders, following major new account wins worldwide and the company’s reinstatement as core supplier for sister company SADA in Spain.

Mr. Brian High Mr High (57), who will report directly to Hybro international sales director Wilfred Folkeringa, graduated from Harper Adams in Agricultural Marketing & Business Administration in 1972. With a long track-record in the poultry sector, Mr. High’s experience includes various appointments with the Cobb Breeding Company and he brings with him broad experience in all aspects of poultry breeding, production and nutrition. Prior to joining Hybro, Mr High worked as International Sales and Marketing Manager for ANUPCO, manufacturers of animal health products and feed premix distributors.

Wilfred Folkeringa comments: “[Hybro] regards the UK as a key European market – and one that we believe we are now better placed than ever to serve with our enhanced product portfolio.

“We have searched carefully for a suitably qualified person to represent Hybro in the UK for some time, and we are delighted that Brian has agreed to join the Hybro team. He knows the market extremely well – and brings an ideal mix of market knowledge and gravitas to what will be a pivotal role in restoring Hybro to the UK market.”

Brian will be supported by a team of technical specialists, to ensure that product performance in the UK demonstrates an optimised platform for the support of Hybro’s ambitious programme for growth this year.
