Learn About the Coming Nutrition Labeling Mandate at the WorldWide Food Expo - WASHINGTON, DC – Members of the meat and poultry industry whose products will be covered by a soon-to-be published mandatory nutrition labeling rule will benefit from an educational workshop titled “Meeting the New Nutrition Labeling Mandate for Meat” at the Worldwide Food Expo on Wednesday October 26, 2005 from 8:30 am-9:45 am at Chicago's McCormick Place.

The program will focus on what to expect from the rule, how companies can achieve full compliance and how nutrition information can be integrated into product marketing programs. The featured speakers will be Mr. Michael Uetz, executive director for market research, TreAmici Marketing and Dr. Robert Post, director of the Labeling and Consumer Protection Staff at USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
