Malaysian Chicken Prices Nationwide Remain Unchanged
MALAYSIA - The Federation of Malaysian Breeders Associations (PPPM) Tuesday announced that the retail prices of broiler chicken nationwide had remained unchanged since Jan 14.According to a table and list issued by PPPM, the retail price of broiler chicken, which is based on the current supply and demand factor, remained at RM6 per kg for dressed chicken with legs, head, liver and gizzard.
The price of dressed chicken without legs, head, liver and gizzard also remained at RM6.70 per kg.
According to the list, the price of live chickens in farms remained unchanged at RM4 per kg while the wholesale price was RM4.50 per kg.
